You can get:
Description of Thermotoga maritima
- taxonomy: Bacteria; Thermotogales; Thermotoga
- Thermotoga maritima, a rod-shaped bacterium belonging to the order Thermotogales, was originally isolated from geothermal heated marine sediment at Vulcano, Italy. The organism has an optimum growth temperature of 80 degrees C. T. maritima metabolizes many simple and complex carbohydrates including glucose, sucrose, starch, cellulose, and xylan.
- The total number of ORF of Thermotoga maritima used in this study is 1846.
Attention
- This is our high coverage report. The threshold for transmembrane helices is lowered to get higher coverage, so the reliability decreases.
- This page only covers those proteins that are not detected by our normal threshold (shown in our high reliability report).
