• Pyrococcus horikoshii is a hyperthermophile found in the hot waters of the Okinawa Trench. The microorganism can grow at high temperatures, favoring a temperature of 98 degreeC.
• The total number of ORF of Pyrococcus horikoshii used in this study is 2064.
