Description of neime

• Taxonomy: Bacteria ; Proteobacteria ; beta subdivision ; Neisseriaceae ; Neisseria
• Neisseria meningitidis is a gram- bacteria. It is a causative agent of meningitis and septicaemia. It contains more genes that undergo phase variation than any pathogen studied to date, a mechanism that controls their expression and contributes to the evasion of the immune system.
• The total number of ORF of neime used in this study is 2081.
