You can get:
Description of Aquifex aeolicus
- taxonomy: Bacteria; Aquificales; Aquificaceae; Aquifex
- Aquifex aeolicus was one of the earliest diverging, and is one of the most thermophilic, bacteria known. It can grow on hydrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and mineral salts.Although this organism grows at 95ˇăC, the extreme thermal limit of the Bacteria, only a few specific indications of thermophily are apparent from the genome.
- The total number of ORF of Aquifex aeolicus used in this study is 1522.
Attention
- This is our high coverage report. The threshold for transmembrane helices is lowered to get higher coverage, so the reliability decreases.
- This page only covers those proteins that are not detected by our normal threshold (shown in our high reliability report).
